  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I reside in the City of Exeter, but not in my Parish, there being no Parsonage House. I have no Lecturer.

  2. Other benefices: I serve this Living under Sequestration, & have likewise the Parish of St. Edmund upon the Bridge.

  3. Divine service at other churches: I do not perform Divine Service at any Church besides my own but I read Prayers & preach once every Sunday at the High-Goal for ye County of Devon, & read Prayers there twice in the Week besides.

  4. Frequency of divine service: I have one Sermon every Sunday at St. Mary Steps, & one at St. Edmund & Prayers at St. Edmund's every Wednesday, & at St. M: Steps every Saturday & on all Saints Days at one or other of them.

  5. Frequency of communion: I have a Sacrament every Month, one Month at St. M: Steps, & ye next at St. Edmunds and on the three Great Festivals besides. There are about 30 Communicants.

  6. Catechising of children: I give Notice that I will catechize them every Saturday during the Summer, but for 2 or 3 years last past none have attended.

  7. Church fabric: The Church & all Things belonging to it are in good Order. No Church-Yard.

  8. Glebe terrier: There are no Glebe-Lands nor Houses belonging to the Rectory.

  9. Number of families: About 200.

  10. Chapels: There is no Chapel within the Parish.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: Only two reputed Papists reside in the Parish. No Meeting-House.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: There is a Charitable Donation of ten Pounds a year given by one Slade & two Pounds a year besides, which are properly applied.

  13. Charity: All the Lands for pious & charitable Uses, which are under the Direction of Feoffees, & are properly applied, produce Head Rents to ye Amount of £12 18s 0d a Year, & were given for ye Repairs of the Church, excepting the Donations mentioned in the 12th Article.

    Priest's orders and institution: My Sequestration is dated Feby 11th 1763, & my Priest's Orders Oct 28th 1758.
